Ugur Candan was graduated from Mechanical and Industry Engineering Departments of Bosphorus University and holds a master degree in manufacturing systems from Nottingham University. Ugur Candan has started his career in SAP Bilgi A.Ş as consultant in 1997 and he was one of the managers took part in the establishment of SAP Türkiye Yazılım Üretim ve Ticaret A.Ş. as the 65th country office in 2001. Between 1998 and 2007, Ugur Candan worked in different roles at SAP Turkey as Product Manager, Business Development Manager, Solutions Manager respectively and he also led the Presales team for SAP, South Europe Region. Between 2007 and 2016, as the COO of SAP Turkey, he has been responsible for efficiency and management of all functions and he was awarded COO of the Year in EMEA Region in 2010,2012 and 2016. In April 2017, Ugur Candan has been appointed as the Managing Director of SAP Turkey. With more than 20 years of experience, Ugur Candan is a prominent thought leader on latest technologies and committed to increase the growth of SAP Turkey in enterprise applications and software market in Turkey.
Ugur Candan is married and has two children.
