Serdar is a senior executive who has built his career in the Information Technology industry over the last 25 years taking on key leadership roles within multinational organizations across Turkey, Middle East and Africa.
He has started his career at Arthur Andersen in 1992. Seeing the potential impact of technology on changing the business world Serdar strategically moved into the IT industry and joined Hewlett Packard in 1997. During his 19 years at Hewlett Packard (HP) Serdar took on several leadership roles including PC Business General Manager for Middle East region, Managing Director for Turkey and finally Regional Director for Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa region.
After leaving Hewlett Packard in 2016, Serdar led a Digital Transformation project at the Index Group (listed on the Istanbul stock exchange-INDES ), one of the biggest distributions and logistics companies in the Turkish market. He then continued his career at Netaş Telecommunications (listed on the Istanbul stock exchange-NETAS) , a leading Systems Integrator operating across the Middle East, Central Asia and North Africa. Serdar led their International Sales business across the region.
Serdar has joined Comodif, a Connected Mobility Technology company, in 2020 with the mission of leading them into international markets and becoming a global technology company.
Serdar holds a Business Administration degree from Marmara University. He has a Masters degree in European Union Politics and Economics from the Jeanne Monnet Institute. Serdar also completed the Young Managers Program at INSEAD in 2005 as part of his executive education.
He currently lives in Istanbul, Turkey with his wife and two children. He also acts as a mentor and angel investor in the startup ecosystem with a focus on B2B SaaS companies.
