After graduating from in Uludağ University Electronic Engineering in 1987, Mehmet Ali Tombalak completed his master’s degree in business administration at Marmara University.
Tombalak has started his professional life in Gaziantep Turkish Telecom as a power plant engineer and he continued his professional life at Teleteknik between 1989 and 1994. He started to work as a sales manager in Probil in 1994 and continued as a general manager and carried over this duty until the sale of the company in 2001. In 2002 he founded the Eastern Networks Turkey with foreign partners and undertook the role of general directorate of ENT. In 2007, he joined to the group at the request of management of Probil, for the second time, as CEO and continued this duty until Probil was sold to Netaş in 2012. After serving as the corporate sector general manager for six years in Netaş, he left voluntarily.
Besides being the chairman of the board of Fineksus, of which he is the founder, he supports the management teams of the companies which he is an entrepreneur of and continues to work as a volunteer mentor.
