In his speech, Orhan Turan, the President of the TÜSİAD Board of Directors, used the following statements:
"This year, as we celebrate the centenary of our Republic, it represents a significant milestone for our country. The economy of the future is being shaped by technology and digitalization. As the rules of competition are being rewritten, we must be prepared for the economy of tomorrow. At TÜSİAD, we have made technology and digitalization important pillars of our work within this framework. We believe that in order not to miss the dynamics of the age and not to lag behind advanced countries, we need to mobilize urgently, using all our resources, and take steps based on science and technological progress."
"Today, in the report we shared in collaboration between TÜSİAD and TÜBİSAD, we also share with you the potential that Türkiye can realize with high technology and our critical call to action for this goal. We must transform Türkiye into a comprehensive technology production center in every region. To accelerate digital transformation, both the private sector and the government are taking significant steps. To succeed in this area, we need a high level of ownership and a coordinated approach. It is crucial to carry out the necessary work through collaboration between the government, private sector, and academia. We should collectively reshape public policies and support mechanisms that can guide the private sector."
Levent Kızıltan said "The key to sustainable growth lies in the hands of countries that can make a technological leap."
TÜBİSAD Board Chairman Levent Kızıltan used the following expressions in his speech:
"In the new world order where digitalization takes center stage, the key to sustainable growth lies in the hands of countries capable of making a technological leap. Therefore, the transition to digitalization and the digital economy is a strategic journey that our country must embark upon, running alongside many stakeholders, as it becomes a race we must engage in internationally with wisdom. Our primary goal in the 2nd century of the Republic should be to create a Türkiye that has achieved a technological leap and transformed digitalization into a strong economic asset."
